The Boys from Derby: "Revenge of the Dead" by Pellowski and Sutton

Season's Greetings, Groove-ophiles! Let's take a trip back to February 1975 so we can take a trip even further back to the days when pirates ruled the high seas! Of course, this being a short shocker from Ghostly Tales #115, ya know there's gonna be some supernatural shenanigans goin' down on onboard! Arrrrrrre ye ready, ye scurvy scoundrels? Then let Boys from Derby Mike Pellowski and Tom Sutton be yer creepy captains as ye sail head-first into the..."Revenge of the Dead!"

  1. Tom Sutton was so great. Very underrated. How about posting Marvel Premiere 43 ? Always loved that issue. Thanks again for such a great site.

  2. Reminds me of that one story in the film "Heavy Metal." Soldier jumps out of a bomber plane full of ghouls, parachutes to an island ... full of ghouls!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
